OUR STORY

Our story began the day Bill, a self-employed entrepreneur, and Billy, Bill and Kathy’s 17-year-old son walked into Slim Possible….a little nutrition club in downtown Newport, RI in July of 2017.

 

Kathy, a life-long Oswegonian, had a passion for health and nutrition since she was 9 years old.  She prepared a smoothie every morning for breakfast for Billy from the time he was 10 years old.  So when Bill was in search of a breakfast smoothie for Billy, in order to get him through his full-day lacrosse recruiting camp (which is what brought them to RI), he was lucky enough to stumble upon this Herbalife Nutrition Club…..Slim Possible.

We immediately fell in love with the Nutrition Club concept!  The environment was positive and fast-paced with a variety of customers that came in and out from all walks of life.  We loved the products and how they made us feel so much that in March 2019 we opened The Mix Nutrition Club in Oswego, NY.

 

Thanks to our amazing community, it was a success. Our customers so eagerly awaited getting their healthy tea, aloe, and shakes every day and we slowly started witnessing the healthy transformations in our community one person at a time.  It’s been an amazing journey with our business expanding all over the US.

 

Billy opened up his own nutrition club, Core Nutrition & Energy, in September of 2021 in Rochester, NY. Erica, our 18-year-old daughter, has been an Independent Herbalife Distributor since 2019. Adam, our 14-year-old son, is looking forward to opening his own club someday while in the meantime enjoying the healthy lifestyle that this business has helped provide us.

We are so grateful to all of our clients, customers, and staff members who over the years have become a close family to us. We are so fortunate to be able to call helping others our “job” and hope to continue doing so for years to come.  Welcome to the club!
